Taxation Law Review 2026

On October the 11th 2026, the Vladastock Confederation hosted a Law Review examining the taxation act currently being drafted by the Assembly. Assembly Member Jack, Supreme Court Judge George, Citizen Shota and Premier William joined in for a night of fun political discussion.

Thanks to Shota’s advocacy for greater Member State powers and rights before the Law Review, the newly created Goods and Services Tax was adjusted to better support Member State economic growth. Rather than merely divide the profits equally. This change was met with broad approval from all who attended.

Assembly Member Jack requested that the capital gains tax exemption on defence company stocks only be applicable during emergencies or wars. So that way the military industrial complex does not grow out of control.

Finally, Supreme Court Judge George recommended that we change the name of the act. Current working titles are still in place pending a final approval.

Beyond that everyone agreed that the law is ready to go to a vote. However, it was decided that we would wait until the entire Assembly had a chance to study the law before proceeding.

The Alexander Administration stated that whilst the delays in getting this bill to the floor have been unfortunate, ultimately the quality of the law will speak for itself. It is expected that the act will be presented and voted on in the Assembly some time in November.
